"Bringing together activist, community organizers, political thinkers, commentators, campaigners, and professionals Rose Gibbs invites you to this one-day-only event – a project that seeks to offer artists, art lovers and the curious a chance to meet and speak with a range of representatives from different groups about the work they do.
Throughout the day delegates from LGBT, Racial Equality, Feminist Socialist, Social Welfare, environmental and anti-violence groups will come together in this informal setting both to meet each other and to reach out and speak to the public. |
The day hopes to provide a platform for those who work in community organizing, human rights activists, professionals and charities that work with victims of exploitation to reach out to the public and share their expertise. The drop in centre aims to inspire the visitors by offering an opportunity to meet with this broad range of professionals. By creating an informal atmosphere we hope to open up a space for conversation and interaction where ideas can be shared and connections fostered.
The event promises to be an exciting opportunity for all of us as we come together and learn from one another. Come and meet and speak with the people who hold our society together. |
